Hola! We have safely arrived in Mexico City where we met the Mussons and the Ricketts, bringing our total group of 24 together (sadly Mike Franklin had to remain in North Wilkesboro due to travel document problems). We are now awaiting our flight to Tuxtla, where we will proceed by ground transportation to Ocosingo. We arrived to find Penny Musson(our team leader/mother duck) pulling her hair out in clumps, as our Atlanta to Mexico City flight was delayed nearly 1 1/2 hours due to mechanical problems (we were happy to wait for a different plane!). Other than the delay, travel was uneventful. Penny has been revived and we shall board for the next leg in about 1/2 hour.
We expect to arrive in Ocosingo by about 10 pm local, or 11 pm North Wilkesboro time! Thanks for your prayers, and everyone spread the word about the blog to friends and congregation members--we want lots of readers!
