Hola y’all. Work is in full swing now. We’re pouring a cement floor in a storage facility (after moving MUCHO gravel), cutting and planing lumber, and building tables. Everyone is working hard. We have been blessed with an overcast sky so far so the temps have been tolerable. Most everyone is feeling pretty good. We’re still waiting for about 5 folks to get their luggage so in the girls dorm it’s been like college…sharing clothes, shoes, toiletries…well, everything. The workers are so patient with us as we try to learn how we are to do things. Being able to laugh at yourself is definitely a valuable tool! The ladies work nearly all day fixing our meals and then cleaning up after us. Several of us are taking LOTS of pictures as there is something you want to remember everywhere you turn. The preachers of the Synod are coming in now for a conference here and the paramedics are coming to work with us for the week so there will be a BIG family working together. I think this is probably what the Lord has in mind. It certainly seems good. We think about all of you at home, our home families as well as our church family. Wish you could all be here but I don’t think we would really want to spread the bathroom / showers much thinner! Take care. Thanks so much for all your prayers. We feel your support. So glad to hear that things are going well. It is so good to hear about what you are doing and how God is at work through our friends. We couldn't be there with you, but are praying for you all. May God bless you as you serve his people. You are the hands and feet of Christ in the world and we love you for it.
